Host of Sparrows Aerial Circus is Richmond's own and Virginia's first professional aerial and circus arts company.

We’re taking flight at Artoberfest 2025!

Host of Sparrows Aerial Circus is thrilled to return to the skies at the 4th Annual Artoberfest on Saturday, October 18th from 3–7PM (rain date 10/25) at the Petersburg Harbor. This free community celebration of arts and culture brings together music, performance, creativity, and connection.

We’ll be soaring high with our 15th Anniversary Metamorphosis performance, kicking off the festival at 3:00PM and returning at 5:00PM for a second performance. Enjoy food trucks, over fifty art and maker vendors, and plenty of activities for all ages. See you under the Petersburg sky!

Artoberfest is part of CultureWorks’ artoberVA and presented by Towne Bank, CultureWorks, Visit Petersburg, Homebase Credit Union, Petersburg Arts Council, and Petersburg Community Resilience Hub. This project was supported, in part, by the Virginia Commission for the Arts, which receives support from the Virginia General Assembly.

Public Parking is available at various locations, including Trapezium Brewing, Union Station (N&W Train Station), River Street Farmers Market, and along River Street.
